Product Owner, CPB Platform and Aggregator

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Owner to join Discover Financial Services, working on the Card Posting & Billing (CPB) Platform and Aggregator team. This role involves collaborating with Business and Technology to drive initiatives across Discover Card, owning critical aggregator APIs, and leading the product vision and modernization roadmap. Strong technical understanding, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products meeting stakeholder and customer requests.
• Interact with stakeholders to align on product vision, features, and roadmap.
• Establish KPIs and OKRs, create product documentation, define MVP, and prioritize backlog.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements, validate acceptance criteria, and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with business technology on technical features and build a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related fields.
• Understanding of the agile mindset and experience with scrum framework.
• Proficiency with agile management tools like Jira and process management tools such as IBM Blueworks Live.
