Registered Nurse - Roswell Job Corps Center

Job Description

We are hiring Registered Nurses to join our team at the Roswell Job Corps Center operated by Career Systems Development Corporation. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care and treatment to students in a school campus setting. In the absence of the Health and Wellness Director, you may also serve as the acting director.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health evaluations for new students, including vital sign measurements, hearing and vision screenings, specimen collection, and phlebotomy procedures.
• Administer medication, monitor students, and report adverse reactions to the Health and Wellness Director.
• Assist in scheduling medical appointments and managing Chronic Care Management Plans for students with chronic illnesses.
• Act as the Co-Disability Coordinator, providing medical accommodations to students.
• Participate in the Healthy Eating Active Lifestyles (HEALS) committee and activities.
• Attend staff training sessions and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and a State RN license.
• Preferred qualifications include one year of nursing experience, with Job Corps experience being desirable.
• Must have sound nursing techniques, effective communication skills, good organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently.
