Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As the Care Team Nurse, you will work closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of patient care. Responsibilities include infection control, age-appropriate care, urgent triage, documentation, communication facilitation, and post-hospitalization follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate infection control practices.
• Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric patients.
• Assess and refer clients' needs.
• Perform urgent triage and crisis management.
• Document nursing care accurately using EMR.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Administer vaccines and medications.
• Coordinate post-hospitalization care.
• Maintain continuing education.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.
• Meet physical demands of the position.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Handle sensitive medical information compliant with HIPAA.
• Proficient in EMR, Microsoft Office, and email.

Educational Requirements: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts with BLS certification. Practice within ANA Standards.
