Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. As the Senior Development Officer, you will work closely with the Senior Director, Development, to devise and implement fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with corporate, foundation, and government funders, and support Enterprise Community Development's fundraising efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on communities in need of affordable housing and advance racial equity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and develop fundraising strategies informed by the organization's goals.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate programs and create compelling case statements for prospective funders.
• Cultivate relationships with funders, organize meetings and events, and prepare materials for engagement.
• Write and submit proposals, concept papers, and reports in alignment with funder requirements.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports with the support of the Communications team.
• Maintain accurate funder records in Salesforce and manage funder contact information.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Proven track record of securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Total Rewards

• Base salary: $93,000 to $103,000.
