Job Description
Omark Consultants Inc, a leading company in the New England utility industry, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Utility Inspection Technicians. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring public safety by inspecting gas meters and underground gas lines for leaks and corrosion.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of gas meters and underground distribution gas lines.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Identify abnormal operating conditions and report findings.
- Work full-time with the potential for occasional overtime and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods on various terrains.
- Proficiency in using simple hand tools.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
