Job Description

Flexential is seeking an ambitious Account Executive - Colocation to join our innovative team. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will play a vital role in presenting and selling our colocation products and services to potential customers in selected data centers, contributing significantly to our business growth strategy. Your responsibilities will include lead generation, opportunity qualification, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and deal closure. Furthermore, you will provide valuable insights on customer needs and industry trends to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation products and services to prospective clients.
  • Generate leads and cultivate new sales within targeted data center regions.
  • Maintain sales activity to sustain a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas by closing deals effectively.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal conclusion.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to enhance the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for efficient sales process management and documentation.
  • Oversee the contracting process for Flexential Master Service Agreements.
  • Conduct productive meetings with business prospects.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with networking partners and channel partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing the sales process with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proven success in team selling with the support of Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com for end-to-end sales process management.
  • Self-motivated individual adaptable to dynamic market conditions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management software.
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards achieving goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range estimated at $62,000 - $85,000. Actual pay depends on experience, location, and qualifications.

Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
