Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to take on the role of leading critical infrastructure operations for our data centers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment, maintaining uptime levels of 99.999% or higher. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of Critical Infrastructure Engineers, drive efficiency initiatives, and oversee cross-functional market improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the operations of data center equipment to achieve top-tier uptime levels.
• Lead a team of managers, engineers, and contributors, providing mentorship and coaching.
• Identify and implement operational and financial efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and protocols.
• Conduct facility checks, disaster recovery exercises, and customer tours.
• Collaborate on monitoring and alerting system configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous management experience with direct reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical infrastructure background.
• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and travel occasionally.

Base Pay Range

Estimated annual salary range: $112,700 - $145,400.
