Dairy and Frozen Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Dairy and Frozen Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Dairy and Frozen Departments at Kennie's Market's Inc. As a Dairy/Frozen Manager, you will be responsible for managing product levels, ensuring top quality products, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership and merchandising skills to drive profit and loss (P&L) accountability for the department.

Responsibilities

• Achieve department sales and gross profit goals.
• Control expenses, inventory, and waste to maintain profitability.
• Execute correct accounting procedures for invoices, transfers, and inventories.
• Ensure optimal product pricing and quantities through accurate ordering.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Direct stocking, display, and rotation of products for maximum visual appeal.
• Collaborate with management on merchandising, sales trends, and improvements.
• Maintain department sanitation and adherence to company policies.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with other departments for sales promotions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of related experience.
• Strong communication and mathematical skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and interpret instructions effectively.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise 5-10 employees in Dairy and Frozen Departments.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff following organizational policies.
• Conduct performance evaluations, address complaints, and resolve issues.
