Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is crucial for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to ensure smooth operations. Actively following policies and procedures, maintaining a professional demeanor, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and security of the data center are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will support critical infrastructure management, maintain inventory, and handle shipping/receiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of Facility and customer issues.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and document them accurately.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Assist with installations and maintain cleanliness of the Data Center.
• Operate Badge Access Security System and support critical infrastructure management.

Requirements

• Passion for customer service excellence.
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Network +, Security +, CCNA, or Microsoft MCP/MCSA are desired.
• Ability to perform physical tasks like climbing ladders and lifting heavy objects.
