Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I role at Flexential is a critical position responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers. This 24x7x365 position requires solid knowledge of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. The role entails representing Flexential professionally and technically, resolving issues, documenting technical problems, and following company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Maintain a professional attitude and conduct in data center operations.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using the ticketing system.
- Follow company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in installations of Flexential services and maintain data center cleanliness.
- Operate and manage security systems and assist with facility management tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong understanding of Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail, commitment, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in an IT support environment.
- AA, BS, or High School Diploma.
- Network+, Security+, or CCNA certifications desired.
- Microsoft MCP or MCSA preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders, work in cold environments, and lift heavy objects.
- Capability to maneuver pallet jacks and install cabling.
Hourly Pay Range
The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $19.33 - $22.67, subject to candidate experience and qualifications.
