Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Operations Technician I to join our team at Flexential. This role involves providing physical and Level II technical support to customers, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the data center environment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for customer service, a strong understanding of Windows operating systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24x7x365 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of facility and customer issues.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and document them using the ticketing system.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Assist with installations of services and maintain cleanliness of the data center.
• Operate and manage badge access security system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer experience.
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience working in an IT support environment preferred.
• Network +, Security +, and/or CCNA certifications desired.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
• Comfort working in cold environments.
• Able to lift heavy objects and install cabling.
