Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Early Head Start Teacher to join our team at HumanKind, a non-profit organization committed to serving children and families for over a century. As an Early Head Start Teacher, you will work in pairs to provide high-quality early education and child development services, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional growth in young children. You will use research-based curriculum, assessments, and family engagement strategies to support each child's individualized development.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing care and effective teaching methods to support healthy development in children.
- Utilize research-based curriculum to plan lessons and activities that foster individual growth.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure inclusive and culturally appropriate services for children and families.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain compliance with licensing and program requirements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of early childhood education and infant/toddler development.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage priorities, and adapt to diverse needs.
- Proficiency in technology for planning, assessments, and communication.
