Job Summary:

The Nursing Graduate (RN) provides nursing care to patients at Grace Medical Center Emergency Room in compliance with Maryland Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and organization protocols. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising care plans, assessing patients, collaborating with staff and physicians, and maintaining clinical knowledge and skills. The role ensures a safe patient care environment.

Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Services nursing experience or 3-5 years of acute care experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• PALS and Hazmat within one year of hire
• Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred

The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features cutting-edge facilities designed to provide comprehensive emergency care. The department includes 29 private treatment rooms, a behavioral health treatment pod, negative pressure rooms, and a state-of-the-art CT Scanner for early diagnosis. The collaborative care approach ensures personalized care plans for each patient.
