Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
The Nursing Graduate provides nursing care to patients in compliance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and organizational protocols. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising care plans based on patient needs, collaborating with staff and physicians, maintaining clinical competency, and ensuring a safe care environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State
- Minimum 2 years of Nursing Experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care
- BLS required, ACLS within 6 months of hire, PALS and Hazmat within one year
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred
- Completion of orientation as per policy/procedures
