Hood Container Corporation is seeking a Corrugator Supervisor for its Chicago, IL plant. The ideal candidate will lead production floor operations, focusing on safety, quality, waste reduction, and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing employees, promoting safety protocols, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations emphasizing safety, quality, waste, delivery, and cost control.
• Motivate employees to ensure smooth and safe operations.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and recommend enhancements to the Plant Manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing.
• Preferred experience in the corrugated industry.
• Ability to work in high-temperature and humidity conditions with appropriate PPE.
• Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic environments.
