Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Event Planning Specialist to join the Air Line Pilots Association, International in Tysons (McLean), Virginia. As the primary contact for pilot members and staff, you will be responsible for booking lodging, planning meetings, events, and travel arrangements. This role requires solid organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate meeting spaces and hotel accommodations for pilots and staff.
- Plan and organize Association meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Assist with budget management and financial reporting.
- Ensure smooth execution of all event planning tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of related event planning experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and event planning software.
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time, including weekends.
