Job Description
OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at DTC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for their healthcare visit.
- Document vital signs accurately in electronic medical records.
- Assist providers during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Maintain supplies and cleanliness in exam rooms.
- Handle administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and medical record management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited healthcare program or equivalent work experience.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
- Strong computer skills and EMR experience.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
