Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join Mid-South Transplant as a Clinical Response Coordinator. In this vital role, you will conduct on-site visits to donor hospitals to evaluate potential organ and tissue donors, working within a 3-hour radius of Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities

• Determine the initial suitability of organ and tissue donors through interaction with hospital and physician teams.
• Evaluate clinical data from medical records and bedside assessments to assess medical suitability for donation.
• Communicate clinically significant information to the appropriate teams at the hospital, physician groups, and Mid-South Transplant Foundation staff.
• Work full-time with a schedule of 12 to 15 days per month, including on-call rotational shifts and some weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting is preferred, or equivalent experience as an Advanced EMT/Paramedic.
• Degree in a medical or related field is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical or hospital experience is required.
• Salary range based on experience: $60,000 - $74,000 per year.
