Position: Resident Monitor/Security (Part-time Weekend Shifts)

Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise adult male ex-offenders in a correctional residential setting and the community.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, security, and sanitation requirements.
- Perform general office duties as needed.
- Available shifts include weekends and some overnight shifts.
Essential Functions
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Supervise and inspect residents' activities and chores.
- Conduct urine surveillance and administer tests when necessary.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings.
- Enforce all house rules and offender supervision regulations.
- Assist with new resident intake and orientation.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior work experience in corrections or related field preferred.
- Clear background checks, physical exam, and drug screen required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
- Ability to de-escalate crisis situations and work cooperatively with others.
- Sensitivity toward cultural and disability issues.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and agency values.
Working Conditions
Work in an adult correctional halfway house setting, operating 24/7.
Physical Demands
Must be able to climb stairs, be mobile throughout the facility, and provide First Aid and CPR.
