Job Description

Wisconsin Community Services is seeking a Security- Resident Monitor II to join our team at Parsons House Reentry Services. This part-time position involves monitoring and supervising adult male and female offenders in a correctional residential setting and the community. Responsibilities include maintaining offender accountability, ensuring safety and security compliance, and performing general office duties. Various shifts are available, including weekends, with mandatory overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor offenders within the facility and the community.
• Enforce house rules, conduct surveillance checks, and administer necessary tests.
• Maintain facility security and safety, prepare reports, and handle medication usage.
• Assist with office duties, greet visitors, manage supplies, and perform other related tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in corrections or related field preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks, physical exam, and drug screening.
• Strong communication, computer skills, and crisis de-escalation abilities.
• Comfort with security equipment, including metal detectors and CCTV.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to climb stairs, stay mobile, provide First Aid and CPR, and perform emergency evacuations. Some lifting may be required.
