Survey Instrument Repair Technician & Operations Assistant

We are looking for a Survey Instrument Repair Technician & Operations Assistant to join our team at Duncan-Parnell Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing optical and GNSS equipment, providing quality repairs, calibrations, and customer assistance.

Job Summary

The Instrument Repair Technician & Operations Assistant will perform diagnostics, testing, repair, calibration, upgrading, and cleaning of survey instruments. Additionally, you will assist with order fulfillment, showroom display, and inventory management under the supervision of the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service for customer equipment.
• Create and process service work orders.
• Repair and calibrate survey and mapping equipment.
• Assist in maintaining equipment rentals.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager for training and authorizations.
• Support branch personnel with customer relations and order processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in electronics or survey equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in land surveying or construction industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows 10 Operating Systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
